Phase change material is a key to many electronics cooling scheme. It acts a thermal buffer to absorb instant large amount of heat and dissipates thereafter.
Efficient, reliable cooling of today’s semiconductors, with their steadily increasing heat loads and heat fluxes, requires innovative and compact thermal solutions that go beyond traditional electronic heat sinks and enable your products to perform at higher levels. In some limited space, phase change material plays an important role since it can quickly absorbs the heat from the electronics and spread out the heat through conductive medium.
Phase change material is used to help battery cooling. Moden battery’s performance and service life highly relates to the working temperature, if the temperature goes too high, the battery lose its ability quickly.
