Because of fast development in modern medical and pharmacy, there are more needs for cheap and small size passive cold chain shipping. PCM and insulated container is a good combination for passive shipping. Depending on the shipped goods, one should choose the right PCM for the job as follows.

Temperature Selection:

PCMs within insulated shipping containers normally can control +/-3 degrees depending upon the type of insulation.

-18°C -21°C~-15°C (Eutectic salt water)

+5°C 2°C~8°C ( Tetradecane—nPCM5)

+18°C 15°C~21°C ( Hexadecane—nPCM18 or bio organic PCM18 ）

+22°C 19°C~25°C （Heptadecane—nPCM22 or bio organic PCM23 )
